Programs for children (primary beneficiaries)
1. Early childhood education (ECD)
Play-based learning and school readiness for preschool-age children.
2. School feeding & primary school support
Daily meals plus homework support, psychosocial support (PSS) and life-skills development.
3. Linkage to secondary & high school
Support with access to social welfare services (OVC grants), sponsorship and placement assistance.
4. Technical & vocation training (TVET) for OVC
Access to vocational skills, sponsorship opportunities and startup capital support.
5. Psychosocial support (PSS)
Individual and group support for children and vulnerable families to build resilience and wellbeing.
6. Young parents’ training
Practical parenting, health and livelihood skills for adolescent and young parents.
7. Community support groups
Kids’ Clubs (4–8 yrs), Pre-Teen Clubs (9–16 yrs) and Young Mothers’ Club for peer support and learning.
8. Community outreach
Interpersonal parenting partners and outreach activities to strengthen family care and parenting practices.
9. Sexual & reproductive health youth project
Education on SRHR and HIV prevention, testing referrals and youth-friendly information.
10. Cross-cutting activities
Climate change awareness, gender work and income-generation activities integrated into programmes.
Support for parents (secondary beneficiaries)
- Parenting trainings for parents of preschoolers to improve caregiving and stimulation at home.
- One-on-one sessions for parents whose children receive PSS, providing tailored guidance and referral.
- Annual general meeting — parents attend a general meeting at the start of each year for planning and engagement.
